We are looking for consultants to perform QA testing for our government client in Sacramento, CA.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Perform Functional testing on applications
• Perform System Integration testing on identified, integrated systems
• Perform Stress/Performance testing on applications and systems
• Perform Regression testing on updated applications and systems
• Perform User Acceptance testing, and assist subject matter experts in performing their User Acceptance testing on applications and systems
• Create, modify and update project Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts
• Ability to write Agile User Stories and related Test Cases
• Create test case(s) with minimal business requirements provided
• Look for opportunities to improve testing processes
• Evaluate existing testing processes and recommend improvement
• Recommend software testing standards and best practices
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies based on product needs and industry trends
• Perform automated testing where needed
• Encourage innovation of process and creative testing methodologies
• Weekly timesheets and status reports that include a written explanation of status on the task assignment
• 5+ years of software testing experience which also includes testing web-based applications
• 2+ years testing experience in an enterprise-class system with an understanding of multi-tier architecture
• 5+ years working knowledge of .NET and Windows
• 2+ years’ experience of development of User Stories, Test Plans, Test Cases and management of defects in Azure Dev Ops.
• 1+ lead System testing and User Acceptance testing where needed
• 1+ year experienced in root-cause analysis of product or process related failures
• 2+ years’ experience in performing American Disabilities Act (ADA) testing
