Lume Consulting Group, a Sacramento-based IT consulting company, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst for a project with one of our California State clients. Candidates should have experience in IT projects supporting governmental agencies.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
1. Eliciting, documenting, analyzing, communicating, and verifying requirements.
2. Acting as liaison between business stakeholders, such as management, customers or end users, and the software development or IT team.
3. Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into solution requirements.
4. Using business modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through an organization to enhance project success.
5. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and identifying areas for process improvement.
6. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
7. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing ad hoc reports as required.
8. Updating and maintaining procedures and process documentation.
9. Monitoring analysis deliverables and ensuring timely completion and delivery of project artifacts.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working on IT projects in support of governmental agencies.
3. Possession of current certification in business analysis (i.e. CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CPRE, or other equivalent industry certification).
4. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working on IT projects where a CRM platform was utilized.
