📝 Position Overview:

Lume Consulting Group is seeking a highly experienced CMS Full Stack Developer to support the end-to-end redevelopment of its client public-facing consumer website and potential integration of its client business-facing platform. This role blends deep expertise in enterprise-grade CMS platforms and secure back-end development with modern front-end engineering REACT, user accessibility compliance, and responsive design execution. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of UXD, content, Content strategy, and security stakeholders to deliver a secure, accessible, and scalable digital platform that meets state and federal compliance standards.

Responsibilities

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CMS implementation, architecture, and integration tasks with security, compliance, and scalability in mind

  • Build modular, reusable front-end components using React or Vue.js that adhere to accessibility and design standards

  • Collaborate with content, design, and accessibility teams to translate research and mockups into performant code

  • Manage CMS migrations from legacy platforms and configure authoring environments for non-technical users

  • Maintain detailed documentation, including CMS configurations, security models, and data flows

  • Ensure all development meets WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and HIPAA requirements

  • Optimize page load times, performance, and cross-device responsiveness

  • Provide input and recommendations for CMS platform evaluation and implementation strategy

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications:

CMS / Back-End:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience implementing and maintaining enterprise-grade CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress VIP, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Strong expertise in:

    • CMS configuration, custom component development, and integrations

    • Secure content workflows, encryption (data at rest/in transit), and access control

    • HIPAA-aligned development, including PHI protection and audit readiness

    • CMS template design aligned with modular UI component libraries

    • CMS migrations from legacy systems

    • Technical documentation for CMS governance and security protocols

Front-End:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in responsive, mobile-first front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)

  • Demonstrated proficiency with:

    • Building and maintaining enterprise-grade design systems

    • Semantic, scalable, maintainable HTML/CSS and component-based architecture

    • Accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508), including ARIA, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support

    • Design token integration from design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)

    • Performance optimization (lazy loading, asset bundling, responsive images)

    • Cross-functional collaboration with designers, CMS developers, and QA

🌟 Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with HIPAA-compliant hosting environments, such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government

  • Familiarity with headless or hybrid CMS architectures

  • Experience developing secure APIs and integrations with systems such as eligibility platforms, CRM, and analytics tools

  • Contribution to or management of open-source design system codebases

  • Support for multilingual websites and culturally responsive front-end design

  • Track record of improving performance metrics to drive user engagement and conversion goals
